Momi Lokta Tan Bark
The hand crumpling and dyeing technique, we call "momi" from the Japanese word to "knead", is now available in several colors of lokta paper, hailing from Nepal. Momi Lokta is rich in color and texture. It feels and acts similar to a piece of cloth.
A mountainous range of various shades of this naturally dyed paper inspires for all sorts of applications: collage, mixed media, card making, even sewing clothing, quilts, pillows and more. The paper stretches a bit for box making, bookbinding purposes.
