The crumpled and dyed technique, called "Momi", seen in washi, is now available in several colors of Lokta paper, hailing from Nepal.  Momi Lokta is rich in color and texture. 

A mountainous range of various shades of this naturally dyed paper inspires for all sorts of applications: collage, mixed media, card making, even sewing. The paper stretches a bit for box making, bookbinding purposes.
