Lokta Woodblock Fish with Whiskers
Woodblock printmaking methods are used for this Lokta series. Featuring animals, florals, and traditional motifs in either red and black combinations, greens, blues, and other fun color combinations.
This woodblock pattern is of fish in a red and black combination and varying geometric patterned scales.
Our Lokta is handmade in Nepal, sustainably made, supporting local papermakers who keep the hand papermaking traditions alive in their community. Lokta is made from the silky fiber of the Daphne family, and is ideal for all sorts of paper arts: bookbinding, printmaking, card making, collage, box making, sewing, paper interior design, besides many other applications.
Measures approximately 20 x 30 inches, 30 g/m².
Please note due to the handmade nature of the papers, including factors in natural pigments, climate, and water, there may be slight color variations in regards to dye lots.
