Paper Connection International's Textured and Flecked Collection include sheets made out of hemp, kozo, and other natural materials. These papers, some of which are unique to our company, represent the talents of papermakers who incorporate local fibers in a sustainable manner.
We stock dozens of these strong, fibrous, and translucent papers in varying weights, colors, and fiber lengths, including well known unryu papers.
Unryu: The word "unryu", meaning "cloud dragon", evokes a light and airy feeling as the very long fibers are seemingly floating across the sheet, like clouds moving across the sky.
Textured and Flecked papers are ideal for lighting, lampmaking, interior design, bookbinding, printmaking, installation pieces, and many more types of artwork.
