Meet the machine-made cousin to the thinnest handmade Japanese paper in the world. Although the fiber is prepared by hand, the final sheet is formed by a machine for this version of Tengujoshi. Tengujoushi is famous for being so lightweight, yet so strong. Why choose this paper over its handmade counterpart? If you need larger quantities of Tengujoshi yet are working with smaller budget, this paper is for you.
This sheet consists of 100% Kozo fiber from Japan. Conservators often use this paper for book or artwork repair. Ideal for collage, and even printmaking-chine colle or silkscreen with wax. Made by Awagami Factory, Tokushima, Japan.
measures: 19x25 inches @9 g/m², Code#: MA-0007
Disclaimer: These sheets are easy to wrinkle and often arrive to us already with small creases. This very inexpensive price means they are sold as is. Please note: you can iron paper very easily, but if the wrinkles are truly a hinderance for your artwork, this may not be the paper for you.
