With great excitement we introduce to you Tongan Tapa and all the social and cultural stories embedded in the sheets. These pounded bark sheets are referred to as "ngatu"in Tonga.

This paper /bark cloth came in to our warehouse the very last week of 2019. 

It's a creamy, sinewy, 2-layer pounded mulberry fibrous surface, ready for a pigment application or just beautiful as is!

100% mulberry fiber  average size is 18 x32 inches- each sheet varies in size.
