This handmade kozo paper has a beautiful "blind embossed" surface texture of the wood board it was dried on.  This paper is heavy enough for book covers and can also be used for all sorts of printmaking.

The paper is made in Ogawamachi, Saitama, Japan; the traditional paper made in this area of Japan has been designated a UNESCO cultural asset in recent years.
